Boooored

I'm bored like hell. And when I'm bored, oh well, I do shit like this. ^_~ And you know how much I love lists!

Pick 10 fictional characters you would have sex with.

No particular order by the way. And another NB: it's not so much about appearance, but about everything, including what kind of characters they are.

1) Curt Wild (Velvet Goldmine). I mean, look at the guy! I don't think any comments are needed. And his last name tells us all we need to know: he's wild.

2) Brian Kinney (Queer as Folk - US). Doesn't really need any explanations either.

3) Alex Mahone (Prison Break). I have thing for older men these days. XPP Mahone got me through watching PB even when it wasn't at its best.

4) Gregory House (House). It's HOUSE, hello! Needless to say, I've been crushing on both Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry since before I was born probably.

5) John Preston (Equilibrium). The bloke's so out of tune with his emotions that he just needs to get laid. And I happen to find him hot. Also, men in uniforms... I know I'm predictable. ^_~

6) Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars). Because he was cool before Anakin became cool. And he appeared in all six movies. And I wouldn't fuck C-3PO even if you paid me.

7) Mizoguchi (The Temple of the Golden Pavilion). YES, I'M THAT SICK. XDDDDD

8) Sylar (Heroes). He's so crazy and so full of super powers...

And now, SURPRISE! There are two ladies on the list.

9) Gretchen Morgan (Prison Break). Maybe it's the gun? ;)))

10) Niki Sanders (Heroes). You get two instead of one. *_*

Aside from all of the above, there is a huge list of BOOK characters, but that's way too long. In a nutshell, I'm still not past the "fucks everything that moves" phase. *grins*

[Poem] Twins

Title: Twins
Date: October 18, 2009

We are the literary twins,
The Siamese at heart.
Corns on our fingers,
From holding quills for too long.
Look, my forefinger’s deformed.
I have the same defect.
When my quill was blunt
You sat by my side
And helped me sharpen it.
When the river of words became an ocean
Too deep for you
I told you to learn to swim.
They say poets are crazy:
They say too much
And die too young.
If we are to die,
Let it be from words.

for E.

Bye bye Yandex

The weather is appalling. Cold and wet and sleep-inducing. I've decided to spend the day lazing about at home. The evening, however, is bound to be more upbeat, since we're having a farewell party for Yandex who's leaving for Japan at the end of this week. His father got a job there and Yandex is going with him. It's for an indefinite period of time, so I'm not sure when we're going to see him next, but I certainly hope we'll keep in touch. This party looks promising, if only because it is somewhat a gathering of the members from all of my gangs: the uni mates (such as Yandex himself, V and a couple of blokes from a parallel faculty that Yandex is friends with), the Carcrash mates (Andy if he's in town, Arnie, and Cass with her new sweetheart - yes, again!), old classmates (in the form of Vadim only, fortunately) and old groupies (in the form of Greg). I pity the city tonight. XPP It's bound to be a smashing get-together.
Thanks to Erin, I've seriously overdosed on Fry and Laurie today. These guys are a-fucking-mazing!
Erin found a way to shock me yet again (and here I thought nothing could anymore). She said she could never really tell the difference between British and Australian accents. That's scary. XPP <s>And I know I'll be dead for having mentioned this, darling. ;)</s>

Oh, lookit! The 2nd post a day!

Just remembered Chloe today - and here she called. I was at Milly's, so technically she called Milly. We had a pretty dumb conversation.

Me: Yeeeees?
Chloe: ...Edward? (A/N: Milly's husband)
Me: Guess again!
Chloe: You had me for a second, son of mine.
Me: I live for such seconds, mother dearest.

[blah-blah-blah; then I decided to ask her about D.A.D.]

Me: By the way, have you spoken to my father lately?
Chloe: ...No. Why do you ask? What did you do?
Me: What did I do? What did he do!? He promised to take me for a trip and then he disappeared.
Chloe: Like I always said, don't trust men.
Me: And I would be- what exactly?
Chloe: You're my son. Children are sexless.
Me: And also ageless, hairless and immortal. Someone hasn't grown out of dolls yet.

[Milly came and tried to steal the phone from me. Needless to say, she succeeded but not before Chloe told me that "all men from this family are liars, cheats and bastard so [she] wouldn't be surprised if D.A.D. never called me back]

I love my relatives.
Questions stolen from Erin

You know me and my love for dumb questions. *shrugs*

First: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.

Second: Tag eight sexy people.

Who sleeps in bed next to you?
Depends on the bed I'm in. ^_~

What's one of the strangest things that have ever happened to you?
I let Kenny live with me and actually survived it.

What kind of magazines do you read?
Didn't know I could read.

If you could see one band in concert right now, any band, dead or alive, which would it be?
Any-any-any band? Nirvana all the way. And Queen. Aside from that, Placebo, David Bowie, Tori Amos, and a gigantic list of more bands and performers.

What's really creepy?
I am, if you wake me up at 4 a.m. for no reason. A bit of friendly advice: DON'T try that.

Name one odd item within five feet of you.
A big plush weirdness that belongs to my niece. That is, unless we cound the niece herself.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
<s>Sylar</s> Heroes, Prison Break, Star Wars.

<s>Where</s> What would you like to <s>go</s> buy right now if you had enough money?
Darth Vader's full armour. And Marilyn Manson. ...What? I'm very infantile at heart.

What should you be doing right now?
Calling D.A.D. and asking: Weeeeell?

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Do porn sites count? *just kidding* Eh... Livejournal, Wikipedia, Hotmail.

What was the last thing you bought?
Noodles. And sore throat pills.

What's you favorite season?
I like all of them.

Does the weather affect your mood?
Not much, unless it's already been screwed up.

What is your zodiac sign?
Eh... the guy that can shoot. XPP

Do you want to learn another language?
You've got to be kidding. *stares at the Burmese textbooks* *shoots himself*

5 things (not people) you can't live without?
No such things. I can live without everything. Except maybe food, water and air. Other than that, I have a half-sister and another half-sister who turned out to be related to me in some other way. We are one fucked up family.

What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
You, me, bed... nao?

What's your earliest memory?
From this life or the past? Because Chloe tells me I must have been Hitler in the past life.

Say something to the person who tagged you:
Nobody tagged me; I just stole this meme from shaitanah.
Heroes Redemption

As a true fan, I got up early in the morning and rushed to watch Heroes that premiered with their 4th season yesterday. As with the previous season, we got a huge, 1h 25min, episode and plenty of things to snort, giggle and headdesk about.

T-BAG!!! The episode starts with the funeral scene that I'd seen before in the promo. And darn it, T-Bag's awesome! Yes, thank you, I'm aware that his name this time is Samuel, but I can't kick the habit just yet. I think this character has a great potential. He looks totally cool (from his manner of speaking down to those blackish fingernails); he's properly eerie and enigmatic, and tough to figure out. Whose funeral was it, for example? What does Samuel want to fix in the past? What does this "family" of his do? Not to mention he clearly collects really interesting abilities. The woman with tattooes on her body showing real people was incredible. And Samuel's own ability seems interesting. There is also the mystery of the compass. Anyway, I feel like I have one more character to keep me watching.

Speaking of the characters I had already favoured, it was both a pleasure and a relief to see Zachary Quinto. I feared the only way we would get to see Sylar was through Pasdar, but apparently Quinto still has an intriguing part to play. I loved his attempts to lure Matt to the Dark Side: it was something between pissing him off and making him feel guilty. After all, Sylar was always quite apt at playing upon other people's weaknesses.
There was a couple of funny moments with Nathan too. Angela's dream for example and Nathan discovering weird powers of his.
I liked seeing Noah too. That's some strange chemistry he has with Tracy. But I think it works rather well, especially if we remember that episode in the clothes' shop.

I still can't get over how quickly Matt switched from Daphne who he claimed to have loved in a dream and blah-blah-blah [insert all the romantic bullshit here] back to his ex-wife. I'd like to see Sylar reminding him of that too. That's a great guilt pressure point by the way.
Claire's storyline was absolutely boring and vapid.
Peter is getting on my nerves even more than before. Now he's all speedy and Clark Kent-like. If I want to watch something of that sort, I'll watch Smallville, thank you very much.
I still don't like Tracy. Compared to Niki, she's absoloutely insipid. She lacks character depth and, what's worse, motivation. And I dislike how they keep tossing her between men: Nathan, Peter at some point, now Noah. Maybe if she somehow gets re-united with Micah, I might be interested, but otherwise, not really, no.
Hiro is dying. Hello, Lost?
Danko appeared just to die? I never liked him anyway, but it was dumb. Especially since he was no threat to anyone anymore.

All in all, it was a fine beginning. Let's see what follows. I'm just glad my torture device for V is back online. XPP

I haven't used public transport for ages, at least when I'm alone. XPP But today there's this action, no cars (rubbish, of course, since everyone seems to be driving all the same), so I decided to go by bus. V and I needed to go to Arnie's place. That was fun. XPP Double standards ftw! There were two girls (friends, I think, not a couple; they were discussing some guys), sitting on the seat ahead of us. One of them put her head on the other one's shoulder, and they also held hands. No one seemed to pay any attention whatsoever. We decided to test the waters, and V put his head on my shoulder and took me by the hand. People started staring about 2 seconds later. Some grannies even whispered. That says a lot, doesn't it? We kissed right before getting out and I could swear I heard someone gasp. The girls, on the other hand, looked back on us a few times. V claims they are yaoi fangirls.

this fortress in our hearts

Talked to V. Made him understand. Made myself understand.

"I want to make sure I'm not some useless baggage to you. Ask me again if you don't change your mind. Ask me tomorrow."

Yeah, like I'm proposing or something. Tomorrow came; I asked.

"Ask me again tomorrow."

Three days, man.

You're not a fucking baggage and you know that, so if you fucking love me which I know you do you'll come with me and stop screwing around because I'm not fucking gonna repeat it again. It's a fucking limited-time offer!

"Okay."

Okay?

"Yeah. I'll come."

Fucking wanker.

"Look who's talking."

And I find the baggage thing funny because it reminds me of Kakashi Gaiden. XPP
Now I feel that I can fucking jump off a cliff and survive the fall. I'm fucking in love.

Future

I've been having trouble sleeping again. Well, first of all, I located V and it turned out he wasn't going to run out on me, he was just living back home while I was gone 'cause his parents finally decided to sort their shit out away from home to avoid traumatizing their daughter, so V was there looking out for his sister. We had a long talk about everything, 'cause we actually had out own personal shit to sort out - and I suddenly had this Big Shocking Personal Revelation: I don't mind it if he goes with me. This summer in France was amazing. I can't say I missed him or anything, but now that I saw him again I thought: why not? There comes a time of change for everything in life and maybe it's time I changed my selfishly oriented habits. There are a lot of things in my life that I used to consider impossible. Falling in love (hi, Stan!), being in a relationship, not cheating (at least not cheating every day; okay I'm still guilty, but monogamy sucks!!! Shoot me.), living with someone (voluntarily; Kenny doesn't count). Yet so far I've survived all of that. XPP It depends heavily on the financial situation of course (and on V's personal opinion on the matter) but I'm not that opposed to having him by my side anymore. I must be getting old and sentimental. XPP
In spite of this decision that should have relieved me, I couldn't sleep for more nights either. So far thriving on coffee and dumb things. Like watching Shippuuden and discussing it with Erin. My Pain/Konan fanboying scared her, I think. XPP I can't help it. They did a good job on Pain, I think, but his eyes look a bit odd. I think they were supposed to be a different colour in the manga. Konan hair looks more lilac than blue, but they fucked up with Karin's hair too, so I'm not surprised. But the voices fit very well. And I like Madara's voice. When he is Tobi his voice annoys me, but he does a good job as Madara.
I was going to meet Vadim today, but because of some unexpected problems he is unavailable. So I think I'll just stay home and do nothing. Maybe try and get more sleep. Or watch some stupid anime or movies. The summer was so active that I should still be sleeping.

I know I should be shot. I got too engrossed in executing my Ducky-meets-Renee plan and I think I screwed up a little because they appear to like each other a little more than I wanted them to. ;))))
Yeah.
As for the future plans, the agreement between me and D.A.D. still stands, but I don't know when I'm leaving again.
If wishes were horses

What is it with all the carcrashes, explosions and murders all over the world every day? It's a boring way to end the world. I say: let it rain! Water preferably, not fire and brimstone. And I'll build an Ark!
Translation: Alex has read the news.
In the light of fanfiction discussions with Erin, I've been thinking that it'd be nice if someone wrote something I'd like to read. *stares expressively at one particular person because he knows no one else will write anything for him* Unfortunately, my demans are next to impossible to satisfy. Me wants:

PB:
- A Gretchen-centric fic. Preferably, Michael/Gretchen. IC and all. You catch my drift.
- Michael/Mahone.

Naruto:
- Pain/Konan. Could be the Akatsuki times, could be before, while there were still Yahiko and Nagato. Idk.
- Orochimaru-centric something. Pairing, no pairing, gen, slash, het, whatever. IC and all. Could be crack. Could be serious.

Equilibrium:
- Jurgen-centric or Jurgen/Preston. The former - anytime, the latter only seems IC post-Prozium, though.

Dune:
- Paul/Chani. Any timeframe works.
- Paul and Duncan gen. Could be pre-Arrakis, could be when Duncan was Hayt.

You see my dilemma? Finding fics like that is impossible. If you need me, I'll be right there, moping.

P.S. LMAO, I'm listening to the same song as last time, it seems!

Genius, I am!

Lookie-lookie, he posts again! More nonsense to follow!
I'm not big on personality tests (I are unique and cannot be classified), but I was bored today, so I found this test via helike and got landed with the following characteristics (in a nutshell):

ENTP
12 Extraversion, 9 Introversion, 10 Sensing, 16 Intuition, 23 Thinking, 1 Feeling, 3 Judging and 19 Perceiving

Quick, ingenious, stimulating, alert, and outspoken. Resourceful in solving new and challenging problems. Adept at generating conceptual possibilities and then analyzing them strategically. Good at reading other people. Bored by routine, will seldom do the same thing the same way, apt to turn to one new interest after another.

I think it fits me. But the funnier thing happened when I was directed to the Naruto test of the same type.
I have seen it and I survived

Yes, I'm talking about the ridiculous phenomenon of all times a.k.a. Harry Potter and whatever else Rowling comes up with for the next title. So, to keep my fingers from bleeding mercilessly all over the keyboard, we shall call it Harry Potter Wants Sex (because certainly that takes less time to type than HBP. :))) I know I'm weird, save your breath.
Anyway. I have no complaints about the movie! Am I the first one? Never been a fan, moreover, I can't remember if I even read the sixth book. If I did, I probably only read the Death Eaters parts because I didn't remember anything else. The "mushy stuff" (courtesy of Erin) was funny! I was so busy laughing that I didn't actually notice any good or bad things in the movie. It was one huge comedy starting from Dumbledore/Potter innuendos down to the infamous pseudo-blowjob scene.
Okay-okay, there was one thing I couldn't have passed by. BELLATRIX! As long as she's there I can stomach anything. Poor Renee; I couldn't get him to watch it with me, but he had to listen to my exhilarated ranting about Helena for two days afterwards. XPPP
I liked this scene:

Well, Bella in it at least. Draco's mother (what the hell's her name?) looks boring (like a tractor's passed over her face), Rickman is brilliant as always, but nothing compares to Helena. I also liked Dumbledore's death scene. Well, the moment before it. You know, with her.
I read once that she hates watching her own films because she thinks she looks terrible on-screen. That's so not true! Ugh, shut me up already! I meant this as a short entry, but it's turning into merciless fanboying. Brain damage is nigh.

Ideas and more ideas

Not a particular fan of "kawaii" anime girls, but the works of this artist are to my liking. Properly cute and eerie. http://www.camilladerrico.com/
A group of friends captained by yours truly decided to have a picnic yesterday. The tricky thing is that when we had made up our magnificent minds about it it was sunny and lovely outside, but when we set out to put our plan into action, it started raining. It rained with intervals all day yesterday. That didn't stop us from connecting with the nature, naturally. Who cares if we got a bit wet? XPP
My plans for the summer remain obscure. I have planned my holidays over and over again, but some treacherous bits and pieces simply refuse to form the bigger picture. Paris, however, remains the constant element. Well, not strictly Paris, since if I do get there, Renee and I will be traveling quite a lot. Renee has the same long sharp object up his you-know-what as I do that stops him from lazing about in the same place for more than a few days. What bothers me is that I don't quite know when I'm free to go yet.
England is the last place I want to visit at the moment. Family business, you know. Ducky wanted to get together, though, but I'm thinking of asking him to come over to France. I'm sure Renee will be thrilled. He seems to have a certain affinity for rich slackers like Ducky. I'd even go as far as stating he studies them. Call it a social experiment. Also, I recall him stating once that "there can never be enough pretty boys around". If anything, Ducky is smoking hot. XPP
It may also be quite useful to sort out our own turbulent relationship. I'm still lost as to who is making an enemy out of who in our case.

The Final Break

I'm being harrassed by Alexander Rybak. His stupid song is stalking me! Firstly, Arnie's got himself a girl who's a fan and she coerced her violinist of a brother to learn it. Then, I started hearing it everywhere. S.O.S.!
Prison Break finale wasn't exactly the last episode to date. I watched The Final Break. It was... uhm... AWESOME! Finally they brought Gretchen back whom I'd missed since The Sunshine State. Even if her role wasn't as fulfilling as I'd hoped it mught be, she still brought a lot into this episode. It was a relief to see her completely turn her back on Krantz and even help Sara. To see Michael go down was sad but he got to die for something that he cared about. It's a rare priviledge anyway. And Mahone was, well, Mahone. XPP A synonim for 'cool' as always. I'd say it's a decent farewell to one of my favourite tv-shows (which happens to me really rarely; I mostly watch tv-shows for the lolz of it or if I'm bored).
That's overall just a quick notice to show I still am on this plane of existence. I'll be back to my regular stalking-you-without-you-knowing in a few hours.
Your Most Awesome,
Alex in Wonderland.
P.S. No, I haven't smoked Kishimoto's pot, if that's what you want to imply.

I'm alive! *grins*
No, seriously, I didn't realise it was such a long time... Where the hell have I been? All over the place(s), I'd say. Mostly balancing between another crazy family shit, unwanted visitors, work and patching things up between a few of my friends who suddenly decided they hated each other. I did say I was from Krypton, right? XPP
Fandom stuff scared me half to death. Here's when I'm happy I'm not really in any fandom. It's bad enough when your favourite shows/books/movies get screwed up; no need to chew it all up. In a nutshell:

~ Heroes: Huh?
~ Prison Break: O_O ???
~ Lost: WTF!?
~ Naruto: ...

Also, I see everyone's talking about the new Star Trek film. Seen it. XP Liked it. Scratch that: loved it. I was never particularly interested in it (I'm more of a Star Wars guy), but I watched quite a lot of that show with Picard and the Klingon bloke. And Mum was/is (probably revisited now anyway) a Trekkie. So I did see some of the very first series as well. This film is different but quite entertaining. And it has Quinto in it. AND Nimoy. But screw all that: I LOVE SCOTTY! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
And now I'll try to be a nice LJ-friend and comment on something. People, I did read most of what I'd missed. I just had little time (and brain-power) to drop comments.

Sylar! Who needs a detective when you can have a serial killer on your side. And as the latest episode of Heroes shows, he does a pretty good job when he needs to investigate something, and his deduction is good. I am so predictable...

Turns out the lying pregnancy test didn't lie, by the way. Jules is pregnant. High time I say 'oh fuck!' and get my mafia gun at the ready.

Are You Coffee or Tea?

You don't allow yourself to feel in a rush and frenzied.
You're likely to appreciated the ideas or connections that come up over a warm cup of tea.

While you do enjoy the energy of a caffeine boost, you love that it allows you to take a break.
You're not in a rush to do anything. Apparently that's it))) Though there are a few points I'd disagree with. First of all, I prefer coffee over tea as a drink. XPP And then, while I'm not "in a hurry", I do strive to change the way things are, if only because I like change. Stasis is boring.
And... I know I disappeared again. ^_~ I did read all my flist, and even commented on some entries, but... oh well, you know me, I'm more a lurker than a... yeah, shoot me, I'm unreliable!
Bzzzzz!

What, no Sylar this week? I'm frustrated! XDDD Instead we get Kishimoto-sensei on a killing spree. But Heroes were creeping up my chart steadily this season because of so much Sylar, and I was expecting... Oh well, I have nothing against Noah Bennet anyway. But Parkman should tone down. Seriously. Very-very seriously.
As for Kishimoto, for once I'm glad I'm not in any fandom whatsoever. I hear there is a lot of bashing and shipping wank going on on account of the silly little girl's feat. What can I say? Everybody deserves their 15 minutes of fame.
And now I'm gonna watch the stupid film about another crazy girl a.k.a. The Ring 2. I think now that she's out of Naruto's world, Hinata should apply for a job in the local well. Making videotapes of doom and haunting people like no tomorrow.

I had a dream that I woke up in the city full of madmen. There were soap bubbles everywhere, and a tall shabby bloke I had met in Paris spoke to me about poetry. He said that real poetry is the one that is not written yet, that exists only as a fleeting thought somewhere in the emptiness of your skull. We were drinking coffee in a small coffee-shop from green curved glasses made of ceramics, and the world was warped and shiny and the sky was pink and blue.

In short, I want to travel the realm of my dreams more. The real world is here, and the dreams are way too fickle.

life

I'll never listen to the Beatles again... Blame it on Arnie. He dug up his collection of MP3's and we sort of had a Beatles marathon all night long. XPP
Other than that, life has been boring. Shocked the voyeur Granny again. Met up with Vadim... oh, that was even funny. We were sitting in a cafe, talking, when a couple walked in, both of them pretty good-looking, and we somehow started discussing them and realized in the middle of the conversation that I was talking about the girl and he meant the guy. XPP We were like: uhm... yeah...
But actually, I do think he needs a girlfried. He's outgrown his crush on Angel a long time ago (and I couldn't be happier about it), but he's also been alone for ages. I'd understand it if he were more like me, satisfied with one-night-stands and all, but no, Vadim is a typical old-fashioned kind of a boyfriend. If anything, I think he'd shower his girl's bed with rose petals every other day. It's guys like that most girls I know are looking for; yet it's guys like that who are always extremely unlucky in the choices they make.
For some reason this makes me nostalgic)) Maybe I should... or shouldn't. XDD
<lj-embed id="7" />

I actually wanted to write a short post... a couple of sentences. OMG)

One of these days, I'll have to be completely back here. Why? Just because. XPP No particular reason.
I haven't actually been busy. Not too busy. Just too lazy.
Also, there was some kind of a flood of phonecalls and messages from people I haven't seen or heard from for ages. First, Legolas and Kathryn dragged their happy-family idyll to meet me. I didn't get the purpose of this visit, but we had a bit of good time. Then, Christine. That was less nice, especially since Kathryn and her are at daggers drawn with each other, and Legolas and I have been caught in a crossfire when they met. They reminded me of cats spitting at each other over a piece of food)))) Finally, Andy. We have been talking, of course, but he was away in Helsinki and I was too lazy to grab a train and visit him. Not that he dropped by, we had a conversation about how much life sucks and how much more it used to suck. As far as I understood, he's planning some music project back in Finland. He even found some blokes to form a band with. He brought up Carcrash in conversation, and we both started laughing, and I said: "We should have named it Train-wreck. Or Plane-crash. Would have been even more precise." We used to be so lazy and so self-absorbed and so ridiculously, immaturely romantic. I know I wanted a taste of Nirvana-like fame for myself. Blaze bright and burn out quickly, go out with a bang and be remembered for eternity. I'm not so sure what it was that the others wanted. Fame, money, fans? "Do you miss it?" Andy asked. Fuck no! We were horrible! We had horrible poetry (I guess I should have been drinking more often))); we had horrible sound (like a... Nirvana/Placebo love-child rip-off); horrible image (don't even start me on that!); horrible assistance (Christine, I'm looking at you here!); and horrible shit in our heads. I guess we all were exteremely happy to see it go down the drain because mediocrity should be exterminated and dilettantism should be severely punished. To my knowledge, Cass still plays drums unprofessionally and Arnie still plays keyboard. I still play guitar and so does Andy, and there's nothing criminal about it. As long as we keep that away from the world, of course. XDDDD
By the way, it's not an assault of self-criticism; I don't have it. It's a fit of brutal honesty.
And finally: I've read all your entries that I missed. Sorry if I didn't comment on all of them, but I did read them.
